How did you know your dress was 'the one'?
When I began wedding dress shopping, I didn’t have a specific fabric, designer, or silhouette in mind. My mom and I approached the experience with open hearts and a sense of fun, knowing that the right dress would eventually find us. It truly felt like playing dress-up for the most exciting day of my life. The gown I chose was actually the second one I tried on—and I instantly felt different in it. Every dress I put on afterward just couldn’t compare to how beautiful and confident I felt in that second gown. From the romantic, youthful lace to the structure of the elegant corset, it captured everything I had hoped for and more. Each time I slipped it back on, we fell in love with it all over again.
How did you start planning your wedding? What were the first steps? Even before I was engaged, I always knew that planning the wedding would be something my mom and I would do together—it was our dream project. My fiancé and I are both from Miami and have built such a strong community of family and friends here, so choosing the city as our wedding destination was a no-brainer. The first major step in planning was finding a venue that truly reflected us as a couple. We wanted something partially outdoors, by the ocean, bright and full of energy, yet still elegant and romantic. The moment we discovered The Hangar in Coconut Grove, we knew it was the perfect fit.

The team at Chic Parisian was truly exceptional! They made the entire experience feel so special and completely stress-free. They even went above and beyond by accommodating an extra appointment so my sister could see the dress in person while she was visiting from out of town. When we wanted to customize the veil, they executed the vision perfectly. From the very first appointment to the moment I picked up my gown, I felt genuinely cared for and supported every step of the way.
3 advice and tips that you would give to all our future brides?
1. Soak in every moment. Try not to stress over the little things—chances are, no one will notice them anyway. Focus on the joy and the bigger picture.
2. Be fully present on the big day. It will fly by faster than you can imagine, so take moments to pause, breathe, and truly absorb everything happening around you.
3. Remember it’s meaningful for your loved ones too. This is such a special time not only for you, but also for your family and friends. Let them share in the magic and excitement.

Our wedding theme was a blend of simplicity and elegance, with a focus on timeless romance. We played with light to create a soft, dreamy atmosphere—think glowing candlelight, delicate uplighting, and beautiful, textured linens that added depth without overwhelming the space. Everything was designed to feel warm and intimate,
